Cirrus CAPS™ Parachute Overhaul
The CAPS™ (= Cirrus Airframe Parachute System), standard equipment on every Cirrus aircraft, needs to be exchanged and repacked every 10 years to guarantee maximum safety.
The parachute system is designed to protect occupants in the event of an emergency by lowering the aircraft to the ground after deployment.
Since April 2011 Beechcraft Augsburg performs the Parachute Overhaul as Authorized Cirrus Service Center.
